Differences of Opinion Amongst the Scholars

This is the english translation of the booklet 'Alkhilaaf Baynal 'Ulamaa Asbaabuhoo wa Mawqifunaa Minhoo' by the great scholar Shaykh Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-Uthaymeen, may Allah preserve him and increase him in good. A well structured book that discusses the issue of differences of opinion amongst the scholars. The author divides up the causes for these differences into seven categories and explains these seven causes with the use of examples. He has ended the book by including a very important section entitled, 'Our Stance Towards the Differences Amongst the Scholars'. An interesting and useful book that goes some way in helping us to understand the reason for differences and how we should react towards them. It is hoped that this book, although small in size, will have an impact in explaining this vital subject. In-sha'Allah, one who studies this book will increase in his respect for the scholars and in his tolerance towards his brothers who hold valid opinions which may differ from his.
